Interior Timbers
Beautiful finishing timbers for the interior
Specialist timbers from NZ and around the world.
Rosenfeld Kidson timber merchants stock more than 30 species of specialist timbers suitable for furniture manufacture, cabinetmaking and interior joinery. Whatever your project, we can offer the right species from our wide selection of imported timbers.
Along with interior joinery timber and furniture timber, we also stock kiln-dried timber suitable for exterior joinery.
Most of the joinery, furniture and cabinet making timber species we stock are available in 25, 40, 50 and 75mm thicknesses. Timbers such as American White Oak and Radiata are available in a range of grades at lower prices, making them suitable for defecting for furniture manufacture.
American hardwoods such as Oak, Ash, Maple, Cherry and Walnut are generally only available in mixed width specifications; as are the African hardwoods such as Sapele, Iroko, Anegre, and European beech.
Our Australian hardwoods such as Australian Oak are all available in fixed widths. This also applies to most other furniture and joinery timbers such as Kwila, Western Hemlock, Malaysian Kauri and Taun.
Alaskan Yellow Cedar, American Black Cherry, American Black Walnut, American Hard Maple, American White Ash, American White Oak, Anegre, Australian Oak, European Beech, Fijian Kauri, Iroko, Kwila, Radiata Pine (exotic), Sapele, Taun, and Western Red Cedar.
All of these joinery and furniture making timbers are on display in our showroom at 513 Mt Wellington Highway in Auckland, where you and your customers are welcome to visit.
